Connecticus by OPEC (v1)

Started Working as Consultant to produce renders and a video commercial but i quickly became a partner of the startup, I used lot's of Design Tools to enhance from selecting product materials and geometry, rebranding of the startup, product and company business model all the way to next generation products concept generation:

Business Model

I led the workshops to analyze the current business model for both the current product (connecticus) and for the whole company startup, we redefined the ways we were developing products and the approach to potential clients and partners, this anĂ¡lisis helped us to define strategies to launch the product and create a redituable the business.

Re-Branding (OPEC to DEOS):

One of the first things we notice with the business model analisis was the misalignment between the company essence and its logo, the end result "DEOS" was our final version, and simple to remember, the logo and name was designed to be recognizable, and related to consumer electronics, technology innovation and development.

Product Development and Continuous Improvement

we worked on multiple aspects of the product separately, before my contributions, the product was already gone through a series of changes and improvements with regards of functionality and manufacturability, but it lacked the style and aesthetics to make it more appealing to the clients, with the intent of having this product shown in public spaces, it was critycal to make it visually appealing, some of the versions that we came up with where focused on modularity and style, so each client can fit it to their existing spaces, others were focus on make it more stylistic, simple looking but without sacrificing the functionality.

Innovation and Development

We has one good product, great!, so "What's Next?", we were always thinking on staying one step ahead, we developed other related products concepts that fit well with the flagship product and business model.
